A Memorandum of Understanding has been drawn up between the Avon and Somerset Constabulary and the Avon and Somerset Search and Rescue Team (ASSRT/A&SSAR). It describes the working relationship between the two parties, including the arrangements that are implemented when the ASSRT provides a search and rescue capability at the request of the Police.
